David Barnard

        Pastor David Barnard answered the call to ministry at the age of twenty-three and has faithfully served the Lord ever since. He was raised in Cannon, KY by his parents, Hazel and Floyd Barnard, who was also a pastor and helped shape his love for the Lord and the church.

       He is married to Sheila, his high school sweetheart, and together they have built a loving family. They are the proud parents of Joshua, Rebekah, and Jacob, and are blessed with five grandchildren: Parker, Karoline, Hudson, AnnaKate, and Palmer Klaire.

       Pastor David has faithfully served as pastor of Locust Grove Baptist Church for the past twenty-one years. He is known for his humility, servant’s heart, and deep love for his church and community. In addition to his pastoral ministry, he enjoys using his talents as a pianist and singer to glorify the Lord, and he treasures spending time with his family and friends.
